Foot Health Status Questionnaire V1.03 Data Analysis Software
Foot Health Status Questionnaire V1.03 Data Analysis Software
This is the official Foot Health Status Questionnaire (FHSQ) V 1.03 software. It decodes responses to the FHSQ and produces accurate scale scores for the questionnaire.
Key features
Implements the FHSQ V 1.03 scoring algorithm exactly as published.
Automatically decodes item responses and calculates domain scores (pain, function, footwear, general foot health, physical function, social function, vitality and general health status) using the correct transformations and weighting.
Produces scores on the standardized 0–100 scale for each domain, where higher scores indicate better foot health.
Handles missing item responses according to the FHSQ guidance, applying prorating rules when appropriate and flagging cases where scores cannot be computed.
Generates per-patient score reports and aggregate summaries for groups or study cohorts.
Outputs results in common formats (CSV and JSON) for integration with electronic health records or research databases.
Includes basic validation checks to detect out-of-range or inconsistent responses and logs these for review.
Intended users
Clinicians assessing foot health in individual patients.
Researchers requiring reproducible, standardized FHSQ scoring for studies.
Clinics and health services integrating FHSQ results into routine outcome measurement.
Accuracy and compliance
Scoring logic follows the official FHSQ V 1.03 specifications to ensure comparability with published norms and studies.
Missing-data handling and prorating rules are applied in line with FHSQ recommendations to minimize biased estimates.
Deliverables
Individual-level FHSQ domain scores (0–100).
Missing-data and validation flags for each questionnaire administration.
Aggregate summary statistics (mean, SD, N valid) by domain for user-defined cohorts.
Exportable CSV and JSON files for downstream analysis.
System requirements
Cross-platform compatibility; runs on standard desktop operating systems. Note this is 16 bit legacy software and Windows 10 & 11 now have processes in place to install this software. Details provided in the licence & user manual.
Minimal dependencies; designed for easy deployment in clinical or research environments.
Support
Documentation includes scoring rules, missing-data handling, and interpretation notes.
Contact information for technical support and clarification of scoring procedures is provided with the software package.
